Eaton woman honoured as rising star in electrical industry

Eaton Marketing Manager, Danielle Larson, earns a place on TED Magazine's list of rising stars in the electrical industry.

"For the seventh consecutive year, we sent out a call across the industry to find some of the industry’s "rising stars" - electrical professionals 34 years old or younger who have the initiative, drive, in tegrity, and creativity to move the industry forward in the decades to come," said TED Magazine.

Discovering the best and the brightest 

The call drew nominations from mentors, managers, and other industry leaders working in electrical distribution, manufacturing, and related technology and service organizations. The thirty-strong selection reaffirmed for TED that while the electrical channel should continue to focus on ways to recruit the best and brightest, the industry is rich with young professionals taking on leadership roles.

Introducing Eaton Marketing Manager, Danielle

A talented leader is Danielle, who works in Eaton's Electrical Engineering Services and Systems Division. 

Danielle served as a product engineer and then progressed to a senior construction sales engineer role after completing multiple functional rotations as a participant in Eaton’s Leadership Development Program. Her current responsibilities encompass cross-functional marketing and sales support, which include managing Eaton's Engineering Services and Systems Division Marketing Communications team; utilising programs, commercial selling tools and training to advance sales strategies and drive channel engagement; and leading and directing the development of marketing and positioning strategies to create demand and build the Eaton brand across multiple customer segments.

An inspiration within her industry

"Danielle’s success is a result of her inspiring enthusiasm and passion for winning. She is creating positioning strategies to build Eaton’s brand across multiple customer segments" said her nominee for the TED Magazine list. "Having already successfully completed several diverse functional roles, from operations to marketing and sales, she consistently demonstrates her ability to quickly learn and bring impactful change to the organization. Her breadth of experience helps yield fresh eyes to the roles she undertakes."
