Eaton praised for Hispanic and Latino company inclusion efforts

Eaton is being celebrated for its inclusion and diversity efforts, with the company's Hispanic and Latino employee resource group (ERG), VAMOS!, having been recognized as one of the top ERGs by LATINA Style.

Providing the best career opportunities for Latinas

Eaton is included as one of LATINA Style's Top 20 Hispanic Employee Resource Groups of the Year. Since 2010, LATINA Style has recognized and honored the best Hispanic Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) in the country. The ERG finalists are selected based on business impact, excellence in corporate leadership, mentorship, and dedication to working with communities and the recognition also showcases ERGs that are making an impact in career outcomes and overall diversity accomplishments for their respective companies.

Eaton posted on Twitter to celebrate the news, posting: We’re proud to celebrate the accomplishments of our Hispanic and Latino employees. #DYK our Hispanic and Latino employee resource group, VAMOS!, has been recognized as one of the top ERGs by @LATINAStyleMag. #InclusionAndDiversity.

LATINA Style, headquartered in Dallas, Texas, is the publisher of LATINA Style Magazine, a national magazine for the professional Hispanic woman.

VAMOS! focuses on attracting talent and promoting excellence

Eaton's ERGs bring together employees who share a common purpose, interest or background. The groups promote a welcoming, inclusive work environment that welcomes difference and encourages the participation of all employees.

VAMOS! at Eaton, includes Hispanics, Latinos and allies who focus on leveraging their unique heritage to build a foundation of inclusion and growth. The group prioritises attracting world-class talent, promoting organizational excellence and engaging with local communities.

ERGs help Eaton identify priorities, break down barriers to change the culture, engage in business projects and get involved in initiatives to attract, retain and develop talent. Some of their activities include webinars, speakers, stretch assignment projects, networking events and roundtables with executives.
