Honeywell attends largest gathering for women in tech

Prime employer for women, Honeywell, attended the Grace Hopper Celebration hosted by the AnitaB.org and the Association for Computing Machinery.

The Grace Hopper event is the world’s largest gathering of women technologists, with more than 26,000 participants. Women are invited to share their plan and vision for the future and Honeywell employees from across the globe met in Orlando, Florida to participate. The overarching goal was to support women in furthering their careers and transforming the world of technology.

Demonstrating new technology

Honeywell demonstrated new technology and hosted a special session about how they are building a commercial trapped ion quantum computer with record breaking performance at Honeywell Quantum Solutions.

Scholarship recipients who attended the conference were invited to meet Honeywell employees like Maria Jimenez Velasco and Kayla Ortiz, where they received guidance on how to achieve their career goals at Honeywell.
