The gender agenda has come a long way since we first founded the UK's TOP 50 list back in 2006 - a prestigious reference for women to research and compare employers based on their support for women.

Women's equality has come a long way since 2006 and now, 14 years later, the TOP 50 accolade continues to provide a useful reference point for women and industry.

Congratulations to prime employers for women like Capgemini and GlaxoSmithKline included in the 2020 TOP 50 Employers for Women list due to being clear leaders when it comes to recruiting, retaining and developing female talent.

The Times Top 50 Employers for Women 2020 is a non-ranked alphabetical list - because we knew right from the start this was a much fairer way to present the companies because the sectors were so diverse and women's preferences and expectations about what constitutes a 'good employer' varies greatly.
