Capgemini believes the factors that make people different are a source of innovation and creativity. 

Througth their #ChooseToChallenge social media campaign, Capgemini is featuring the experiences of diverse team members throughout Asian Pacific American Heritage Month that recognizes the contributions and influence of Asian Americans and Pacific Islander Americans to the history, culture and achievements of the United States. 

One team member is Capgemini Manager Hema Swathanthirarajan, who appreciates the company's inclusive environment that truly appreciates diversity.

Proud of her heritage and culture

As a female immigrant from India, Hema is proud of her heritage and her culture. "It is part of who I am and how I was raised," she explains.

When Hema moved to the United States, she brought pieces of her own culture with her: "The Food, Fashion, Music, Traditions and most of all the value to respect one another," she says.

"I am proud and honored to be working for Capgemini an organization that fosters team spirit, boldness, and inclusive culture...working with some incredibly talented, kind, modest, and powerful colleagues at Capgemini," Hema adds.

"This culture at Capgemini has allowed me to be a better version of myself and positively contribute to the success of our clients, colleagues, and community."
