EBRD appoints Nodira Mansurova head of its operations in Tunisia

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has appointed Nodira Mansurova as its new Head of the Bank’s investments and operations in Tunisia

Driving sustainable and inclusive growth

Nodira reports to the Bank’s Managing Director for southern and eastern Mediterranean region, Heike Harmgart.

“I am very happy and honoured to take up this role and return to the SEMED region. Building on the EBRD’s successes in the country, I look forward to continuing our work with the Tunisian authorities, the donor community and other strategic partners on supporting and advancing the country’s economic priorities, facilitating private-sector development, green investments and sustainable and inclusive growth," says Nodira.

Bringing a wealth of experience to Tunisian small enterprises

A dual Uzbek and British national, Nodira joined the EBRD in 2001 as Regional Head for the Bank’s SME Finance and Development programme in Central Asia, where she was based in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Nodira brings a wealth of experience to Tunisian small enterprises, which are an important segment of the economy, along with a track record of delivering infrastructure business in the SEMED region.

Investing in projects throughout Tunisia

Since September 2012, when EBRD operations in Tunisia began, the Bank has invested more than €1.3 billion through 54 projects in the country.
