McDonald's is celebrated by Fast Company as a brand that matters

 October 26, 2021

McDonald's is a brand that matters - according to Fast Company, a monthly American business magazine that focuses on technology, business, and design.

Fast Company has compiled an inaugural Brands That Matter list that honors companies and nonprofits that have had an undeniable impact on business and culture beyond the products they sell.

Inclusion in the Fast Company list highlights McDonald's impressive sustainability efforts including its five-year program to improve soil quality in Nebraska beef country

The list also references the success of McDonald's Famous Orders meal partnerships with global superstars Travis Scott and BTS that harnessed the reach of social media marketing, merchandise, music, and new technology.

McDonald's CMO Morgan Flatley says that McDonald's has unlocked the power of fandom to engage new customers by forging an emotional connection with the brand, establishing long-term relationships, loyalty, and advocacy.
