Focusing on the importance of Black history
The online campaign, titled the Spotlight Series, focused on the importance of Black History Month and what it means to individuals like Shenara and Benisha-Melissa.
Shenara, an Inclusion Specialist at QBE European Operations, explained that Black History Months enables her to “unapologetically embrace, showcase and celebrate Black People and their contributions to society.”
Meanwhile, Benisha-Melissa, Employee Relations Specialist at QBE European Operations, recognized that, while Black History Month is important to observe, her history matters throughout the year and her life.

The Spotlight Series was organized by iCAN, an industry-wide, independent, volunteer-run network that supports multicultural inclusion across the insurance sector - and its members and community.
iCAN promotes multicultural inclusion and progression, engage with allies, and celebrate the benefits of inclusion and diversity in the industry.
