Diageo moves at pace and continues to evolve, and as they strive to grow the business, they are just as determined to grow each other. Their culture is rooted in a deep sense of their purpose and values, the personal connections they have to their brands, their relationships and their passion to win in the marketplace.

They have a responsibility to be ambassadors for Diageo, to show humility, be open to ideas from others, committed to outstanding teamwork, to celebrate success and learn where they can improve.
They created their culture and they keep it strong.

Diageo's people

Their company is full of people, ranging from apprentices, interns, graduates and employees, doing great things in fascinating roles, progressing in their chosen careers and leaving behind their own legacies. Their series of ‘We Are Diageo’ films capture Diageo’s diversity, featuring employees from across their business who find fulfilment in roles as diverse as liquid scientists working at their R&D centre, to Coopers who practice the age-old art of coopering at their distilleries in Scotland. They are thrilled that these short films won Silver at the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards.

Diageo is proud of their commitment to the development of their employees, providing them with both leadership and functional training opportunities in order for them to fully realise and reach their potential.

They also seek to maintain a diverse workforce in which the different contributions made by all employees, through the variety of their personalities, experiences and perspectives, creates a stimulating and rewarding working environment. They celebrate diversity and strive to create an inclusive culture that provides all individuals the freedom to succeed, irrespective of their gender, race, religion, disability, age or s*xual orientation. With 47% of their Executive Committee being women, they are proud of the progress they have made in developing female leaders.
