LinkedIn's Chief Executive Officer, Ryan Roslansky, is proud of the company's hybrid and flexible approach to work, and the trust that employees have for each other.
"We're building on what we've learned as we've experienced the Great Reshuffle and taking a simple but powerful approach to how we work: We trust each other to do our best work where it works best for us and our teams. We’ve learned every individual and every team works differently, so we’re moving away from a one-size-fits-all policy. We’re embracing flexibility with both hybrid and remote roles, expecting more of us to be remote than pre-Covid and removing the expectation of being in the office 50% of the time. 87% of our team told us they’d like to be in the office sometimes, so we're continuing to invest in amazing workplaces for every day work and those times when our teams come together" explains Ryan.
"Leading with trust and flexibility is not new for us. Company shutdowns, a RestUp week off, no meeting days, and a Discretionary Time Off (DTO) policy in the US are all part of how we work. As we managed through the pandemic and all that was upended, what we saw consistently was that leading with our culture of trust, compassion and accountability always got us to the right answers," he says.
"As with everything, we’ll learn and adapt as we go, and we’re excited for this next chapter."
