In the episode Placements, Plans and Promoting Plants, hosts Diana and Jacqueline are in conversation with former placement, and current NTU student, Maddie Garrett.
They discuss the skills and opportunities Maddie has gained during her role as Marketing Assistant for NTU Employability and how it has helped and influenced her final year at university.
"I really loved doing a placement, I always recommend it to everybody that I meet, and a lot of my friends who are at university with me now also did one. We always talk about how much we learned, how valuable it was, and even just how much it helps you now entering the job market, giving you that confidence and that understanding of the transferable skills," says Maddie.
