Tosin Akintan [pictured above] was in her final year of studying engineering, when she came across the Schneider Electric Global Student Experience.
"In 2020, I was in my penultimate year studying engineering. During the pandemic I came across a program on LinkedIn, the Global Student Experience. So, I filled out the form and, a few weeks later, I received the result – I got in!" reflects Tosin.
"I was on the services pathway and was able to learn about the company, as well as the sustainability and energy and power industries. The sessions with the Schneider leaders were highly inspiring. It changed my conceptualization of the world – I now view it, not as a resource to exploit, but as a cherished environment to conserve. After I graduated, I was sure that I wanted to work in Schneider. I joined through the graduate program in the Lagos office. I am working with the smartest and most supportive people here. Through all the projects and trainings, I connect with colleagues across the world, making it a truly global experience. I am glad I participated in the Global Student Experience. It has taken me on a learning journey, that has transformed my mindset and outlook," she explains.
