Honeywell's global philanthropic initiatives work to improve lives and inspire change in communities around the world.

An example of this is Honeywell's donation of 13,000 laptops to Eliminate the Digital Divide (E2D) to redistribute across the Charlotte Region of North Carolina in the United States. The value of these computers is over $5,000,000,

With Honeywell’s transformational leadership gift, E2D will be helping to bridge the digital divide for at least another 40,000 citizens.

“We are so honored and grateful to our ‘Honeywell Heroes',” said E2D President & Co-Founder, Pat Millen. “Everyone at Honeywell with whom we’ve worked on this gift has quickly recognized that a fully digitally included Charlotte Region is all about equity and greater opportunity. We are thrilled for this partnership and had such an amazing time celebrating this gift with the fans of Charlotte FC on Saturday.”

E2D stated they were particularly grateful to Honeywell Chief Digital Technology Officer, Sheila Jordan, Honeywell Vice President for Communications, Bevin Maguire, and Honeywell Global Leader, Corporate Social Responsibility, Marcey Stone - and said that without their leadership, and that of dozens more, this incredible gift could never have occurred.
