To succeed in this role, you don't need to be an HR or Learning professional.

What's important is that you're super organised, have great attention to detail, and that you've some level of exposure to project management or planning.

As QBE European Operation's People Development Coordinator, you'll be reporting to the People Development Director and support the embedding of a high performing culture in line with business strategy, through the development of a people development road map and establishing processes, metrics and reports to track progress.

Here's what you'll be doing

The role will participate in projects across Talent, Learning, Early Careers and Leadership, in line with capacity, team need and personal interest to:

  • work across the Talent, Leadership, Learning and Early Careers teams in order to develop an integrated talent plan and road map for QBE International

  • update plans as activities evolve, flagging risks and issues and contributing to resolutions

  • partner with the Data teams at both the Group and International level in order to establish metrics for reporting talent progress and impacts

  • use data to identify trends and insights that could be shared with the People Function and business stakeholders

  • provide engagement materials for People Business Partners, Change and OD teams and senior stakeholders across the business

  • support in writing reports for senior stakeholders such as the Executive Management Board and the People and Remuneration Committee

  • support the development of documentation for Risk controls and discussions

  • participate in projects across Leadership, Learning, Early Careers and Talent

  • strong interest in developing people and creating high performing cultures

  • experience of developing plans and holding people to account for delivery

  • experience of working across multiple activities, as part of a team

  • ability to question subject matter experts in order to build understanding

  • ability to develop plans and persistence to track progress

  • use of data to develop insights
