EBRD colleagues unite for 16 Days of Activism against violence

International Day to End Violence against Women saw the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) colleagues unite to mark the United Nations' 16 Days Of Activism and stand against gender-based violence.

"Yesterday, the world turned orange for the International Day to End Violence against WomenEBRD colleagues are joining the 16 Days of Activism to stand against gender-based violence. Let's #OrangetheWorld!" said the EBRD.

EBRD International Day to End Violence Against Women

International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women marks the launch of the UNiTE campaign — an initiative of 16 days of activism concluding on the day that commemorates the International Human Rights Day. This campaign, led by the UN Secretary-General and UN Women since 2008, aims to prevent and eliminate violence against women and girls around the world, calling for global action to increase awareness, promote advocacy and create opportunities for discussion on challenges and solutions.
