DXC Technology India is a prime employer for women, with the company having announced it has achieved a milestone of 40 per cent women employees. DXC Technology has about 43,000 employees in India.

Amplified outreach to women candidates
According to a report by the Economic Times HRWorld, in 2020 DXC pledged to increase the percentage of women in its workforce in India from 28 per cent to 40 per cent by 2024.
In order to achieve its gender diversity target, DXC increased its intake of women graduates from universities but also amplified outreach to women candidates for experienced hiring.
DXC also focused on building mid- and senior-level women leaders by creating a series of leadership programs for women.
DXC Technology also fostered its inclusive culture by implementing several industry-leading programs, initiatives and engagement practices specifically designed for women employees.

DXC Technology India Managing Director Nachiket Sukhtankar said: "The technology industry in India is grappling with the challenge of underrepresentation of women, both in terms of their entry into the sector and their advancement to leadership roles.
