Diageo's diversity and inclusion work gains worldwide recognition

Diageo plc has been ranked as the fifth most diverse and inclusive workplace in the Thomson Reuters Global Diversity and Inclusion Index, and Diageo North America has been named in the top twenty companies for diverse leadership by Diversity MBA.

Growing recogntion

Diageo is delighted to be awarded a top five place by Thomson Reuters, rising six places since ranking 11thin their inaugural Index last year. To continue to be recognised as one of the most diverse and inclusive companies in the world is a great honour.

Diversity MBA has ranked Diageo North America 19th in its prestigious 50 Out Front Companies for Diversity Leadership: Best Places for Women & Diverse Managers to Work.

This is the sixth consecutive year that Diageo has been awarded this distinction by Diversity MBA, a national leadership organisation. Diversity MBA also recognised Diageo as Best in Class for Board Diversity, and named four Diageo North America employees to its "Top 100 under 50 Diverse Emerging Leaders" list.

Benefitting both its people and its business

Diageo depends on having people with the right skills and capabilities in each of the 180 markets in which it operates and believes that a diverse workforce is more successful in bringing these skills to the forefront. Promoting diversity and an inclusive culture is at the very heart of the way Diageo works, and is central to the company's core purpose of celebrating life every day, everywhere.
