DHL inspires women to excel in logistics and motorsport careers

The diversity of DHL's people mirrors the diversity of its customers and the communities it is part of.

As such, DHL invited Club Athena members to join the company's Andretti Autosport partners for a VIP weekend experience with a behind the scenes look into the world of motorsports and logistics.

Empowering women to excel

Today, more than one in five middle and upper management positions at DHL is held by a woman. And the number is growing all the time.

Career aspirations for women and girls

With behind-the-scenes experiences at DHL's CVG Hub and Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Club Athena members enjoyed a variety of experiences to gain a behind-the-scenes inside look into the world of motorsports and logistics, including a meet and greet with DHL INDY NXT driver Jamie Chadwick. Jamie has become the first female in 13 years to compete full-time in the INDY NXT championship, and DHL serves as sponsor of her entry, partnering with Andretti Autosport. Supporting Jamie reinforces DHL’s values in creating an inclusive work environment across the globe and supporting and advocating for women in their chosen career path.

The VIP weekend experience aimed to fuel and inspire career aspirations and help the Club Athena members realize new career opportunities.
