Diageo honoured for its promotion of diversity and inclusion

Diageo Brazil and Diageo Mexico have both been recognised for their work to promote inclusion and diversity in the workplace.

"We know that for our business to thrive and for Diageo to realise its ambition, we depend on having diverse talent with a range of backgrounds, skills and capabilities in each of the 180 countries in which we operate and to reflect our broad consumer base. We view diversity as one of the key enablers that helps our business to grow and our values, purpose and standards set the conditions for us to respect the unique contribution each person brings," says Diageo.

Diageo Brazil promotes gender equality

Diageo Brazil was honoured by the São Paulo’s Municipal Seal of Human Rights and Diversity at an awards ceremony for its efforts towards advocating diversity. 

Overall, 55 initiatives were awarded during the ceremony to private, third sector and public companies. Diageo Brazil was specifically highlighted for its ‘Diversity and Inclusion Strategy for Women’.

Diageo Mexico promotes LGBT equality

Diageo Mexico was certified as one of the ‘Best places to work on LGBT Equality’ for the first time by the Human Rights Campaign in its HRC Equity MX 2019 edition. Diageo Mexico are one of 69 companies that are heading up national inclusion initiatives.

Guinness Ghana has excellent Corporate Social Responsibility 

That's not all for Diageo's successes. Guinness Ghana was recognised at this year’s Corporate Social Responsibility Excellence Awards in Ghana for its positive contribution to communities across the country, picking up four awards including ‘FMCG Company of the Year’.
