Schneider Electric has been named one of the Healthiest Companies in America by Interactive Health.
"Proud to celebrate that Interactive Health selected Schneider Electric as one of the Healthiest Companies in America. Thanks to all of our #SEGreatPeople that create a culture of wellbeing every day," tweeted Schneider Electric about the fantastic news.
High participation in wellbeing programs and low employee health risk
Every year Interactive Health recognize the healthiest companies in America. These companies like Schneider Electric are investing in and improving the health of their employees. The bar is set high for recognition: 70 per cent or more Schneider Electric employees must be involved in its workplace wellbeing program and Schneider Electric's employees' health risks must be low, based on an annual health evaluation. The fact that Schneider Electric succeeded in both these aspects is truly impressive!
Thanks to Schneider Electric's focus on health and wellbeing, it has seen an increase in productivity, a decrease in medical costs, fewer employee compensation and disability claims and reduced absence from work. A message to be learnt for all companies: workforce wellbeing makes good business sense!
