In line with Beam Suntory's sustainability goals and in partnership with The Nature Conservancy and Green Forests Work, Beam Suntory employees and partners planted 8,000 trees to reforest reclaimed mine land in Kentucky's Central Appalachian Mountains in the USA.

Goal of planting more trees than harvested

In its second year, this partnership event helps transform the landscape and support long-term climate resiliency, as well as providing a rewarding opportunity for Beam Suntory employees to give back.

Sustainable forest management is an important priority for Beam Suntory and the company's Proof Positive Strategy as it looks to advance its goal of planting more trees than are harvested to make its barrels.
