Prime employer for women HCL Technologies is celebrating after being recognized for its gender inclusion efforts. HCL scooped the Corporate Award for Excellence in Gender Inclusion at the NASSCOM Diversity and Inclusion Summit.
"With the aim to be at the forefront of encouraging diversity, we are proud to win the NASSCOM Corporate Award for Excellence in Gender Inclusion at the NASSCOM Diversity and Inclusion Summit 2019 at Bengaluru, India," said HCL.
NASSCOM, a not-for-profit industry association, is the apex body for the 180 billion dollar IT BPM industry in India. It is the premier trade body and chamber of commerce of the technology industry in India and comprises over 2800 member companies.
Taking D&I conversations beyond basic realms
The NASSCOM Diversity & Inclusion Summit attempts to take conversations beyond the basic realms of D&I (diversity and inclusion) to capture 360 degree inclusivity and bring all ecosystems into picture. The summit explored the areas of PwD, Gender, LGBTI, Generation and Supplier Diversity.
The focus was on understanding the impact of inclusivity from an inside-out and outside-in global perspective.
HR Vice President speaks at summit
As well as winning the award, HCL had an exciting presence at the summit. Anuradha Khosla, Vice President HR (Head of Diversity & Inclusion, Leadership Development & Employee Engagement), was a speaker at the event. Anuradha is a human resources leader with more than 26 years of experience spanning across multiple facets of HR.
Anuradha leads a multi-dimensional global portfolio encompassing Talent Development, Diversity & Inclusion, Employee Experience & Wellness.
She says that her work mantra is: “Don’t look for faults, look for solutions”.
