Diageo's Claire Li discusses her important sustainability work

Diageo Global Marketing Manager for Johnnie Walker, Claire Li, explains her experience leading on the brand's sustainability agenda, and her role in the project to remove cardboard gift boxes across the company's premium Scotch portfolio.

Driving immersion and recruitment agenda

In her role with Diageo, Claire is responsible for re-imagining how consumers experience the brand and portfolio across touch points including Johnnie Walker Princes Street in Edinburgh, flagship retail stores, events and sponsorships. Claire also drives Diageo's immersion and recruitment agenda and partners with markets globally on world-class through-the-line, omni-channel execution. 

Claire says, "I also proudly lead Johnnie Walker’s grain-to-glass sustainability (ESG) agenda, embedding sustainability practices across our operations and turning these into compelling consumer propositions including innovation pipeline, communication strategy, partnerships and brand experiences - spearheading Diageo's Society 2030 Spirit of Progress commitments to make a positive impact on the planet and in society."
